AUDIENCE FEEDBACK
Poster// Promo Advert
Initial thoughts
(please specify)?
- Sophie: ‘So good! The only slight problem is the lack of being able to see her face-is she fit? Idk can’t see her face..’
- Jade: ‘The poster stands out and can be seen from a distance and recognised clearly although the main image doesn’t seem to have a focal point’.
- Hayley: ‘The simplicity of the minimal text is very effective-too much text would make the poster boring and overwhelming within information, I like how you have all the key information visible in large fonts’
- Zoe: ‘The colours and pictures are very interesting, the text is easy to read and the artist and album name stand out very well. The information presented isn’t overcrowded even when having a lot of it! This is very cleverly spaced.’
How does this
Poster design link to my DigiPak design?
- Sophie: ‘The use of powder paint is a clear theme throughout-I love this aspect about the promotional campaign!’
- Jade: ‘The poster keeps to the similar colour scheme and uses the similar powder paint/indie theme’
- Hayley: ‘The vibrancy of colour is maintained as well as the focus on powder paint. Similar colours are used on both the poster and the DigiPak, as well as the information-this is very effective’
- Zoe: ‘The colour scheme is the same with similar fonts and the model present/image present on the advert is the same as the image behind the CD in the DigiPak-I particularly like this.’
How does this
Advert design link to my Music Video?
- Sophie: ‘The use of throwing powder paint (the theme is obvious and stands out well)'
- Jade: ‘The image looks very similar to the Music Video-meaning it links very well-having the same feel-good vibe.’
- Hayley: ‘Again, the concept of powder paint is maintained throughout’
- Zoe: The use of same props and person featuring in both’
Does this design
link/show the dance music genre? If YES or NO state why?
- Sophie: ‘I think it does look like dance music genre in that the concept of the image is very strongly linked although the bright colours used allow it to appear slightly ‘pop’
- Jade: ‘Yes, it shows similar themes to the DigiPak, the picture is very expressive and so related to the dance music genre’
- Hayley: ‘Yes-the poster is fun and as viewers we can see that powder paint has been thrown at the subject of the poster which is a physical movement-this makes a nice link to the dance concept as it is also physical. I really like the main image and I think it reflects the Video and Genre very effectively.’
- Zoe: ‘Yes, its upbeat and has a happy feeling to it’
Is there anything
you would change? Please specify.
- Sophie: ‘Maybe an image where the persons face is more visible? Although this does look quite cool and indie’
- Jade: ‘The focal point of the main image’
- Hayley: ‘There is nothing I would change’
- Zoe: ‘Make the models face more visible maybe? Although I can see what kind of effect you are going for here.’
